The boy and I have always been pretty lucky in that we always get numerous Christmas celebrations. Being that we both enjoy our in-laws it's always exciting to get all that Christmas goodness. Usually we top out at two, one with my family some time around the day, then the boy's family on the actual day. My mother always works Christmas, so it was always nice that we never had to pick who we spent the holidays with.
Well, this year, since we have moved, we get a whopping 3 1/2 days of awesomeness. On Sunday we ended up doing all of our Christmas stuff, then Monday the boy's parents made a wonderful dinner that my family came and enjoyed with us. It was a great time.
Even better since Roger was there. And, apparently, Roger never did Christmas the way we did (and by that I mean the awesome way) so it was really fun for him to see how we did things. He also got a crap ton of chocolate that will last him for a quite a while.
The ride home was a bit of an adventure all in itself. On the way to the coos we had the car packed full. We had a ton of laundry to do, Roger's luggage, bedding, etc. Well, apparently we didn't plan well because, of course, the boy and I got *A TON* of gifts, and so on the way home, I had to sit in the back with about half an actual seat to myself. I was packed in with pillows, blankets, and the suitcase. It was comfy enough for the drive, but I'm happy we don't have to do that again.
I'll get some pictures of the things my nana made me when I get to it. She made some amazing stuff.
Ta ta for now.

Good day!
9 days until our friend Roger gets here, 21 days until Christmas. Oh gosh, the excitement is getting to it's peak, let me tell you!
This will be me and Dear 1's first Christmas on our own! I really couldn't be more excited, let me tell you. And even more fun, we get to celebrate a Christmas with my family (and perhaps his) the day after Roger gets here. That week will be a very very exciting one.
I've started working on the gift I'm going to be putting in Roger's stocking. l4d magnets! We love playing that game together, so of course I've got Zoey, Bill, Francis, and Louis. Zoey is done, and Louis is really close to being complete. Pictures to come.
Well, Happy Holidays guys! :D
Oh, before I get, my good friend has recently moved her blog, so check her out, she's a lot more successful at finishing projects than I.

What happened?!
I got bored, that's what happened. Oh yeah, and stopped dieting.
Gosh, I suck! But hey, the boy still likes me, I still like me, so we're doing okay.
Christmas is getting here so fast I can hardly contain my excitement! We, of course, got our tree the weekend after Thanksgiving and covered that sucker, and the surrounding apartment with tons of decorations. Can't get enough :) This was supposed to be a make everything Christmas, and while I've made about 60% of my gifts, I couldn't help but buy some presents. However, we did save quite a bit of money with the things I did make, mostly a lot of treat gifts.
We tried our had at homemade peppermint bark, and oh my. I made a "tester" batch, to have friends and co-workers try to see if it was gift worthy. I know it's eat 20 pieces a day worthy, so the verdict is: yes. Time to give that stuff away so I stop eating it. Buwhaha
Might as well post some pictures, huh? I just finished this gift for the mother in law, and I'm very happy how it turned out. Now I really just need to make more candy and my best friends husband's gifts. Still not 100% sure what he's getting... hmm
on to the gift!
